Megan and Michael’s Elegant Save the Date and Wedding Invitation

Megan worked together with Kelly of Kelly Hicks Design to create the couple’s elegant custom save the date and wedding invitation.  The photo save the dates coordinated with the couple’s red and white wedding colors and included a lovely photo from their engagement session and romantic red hearts.  The simply elegant wedding invitation suite with vintage touches was done in a palette of chocolate brown and white.  Kelly hand illustrated the flowers and completed the design by displaying the invite, information card, map and rsvp card in a chocolate brown pocket folder tied with twine.

Vanessa and Tony’s Vintage Inspired Save the Date and Wedding Invitation

To go along with their vintage inspired wedding, Vanessa and Tony selected save the dates and wedding invitations with a vintage flair.  Both the postcard save the dates and wedding invites showcased an engagement photo and were designed by an Etsy shop called Nostalgic Imprints.  Nostalgic Imprints specializes in custom stationery with a vintage feel.  Stay tuned tomorrow for Vanessa and Tony’s vintage inspired DIY Plummer House wedding.

From the Bride: We went with an Etsy shop called Nostalgic Imprints for the save the dates and wedding invitations.  Our save the dates had a mad lib on the back of them.  It was so much fun to see what people had to say!  We would get a few every week so it was something to look forward to.  I displayed all the mad libs at the wedding reception for people to read.  I definitely would recommend that to future brides because it was so fun!  Our invitations were great, too.  For both we purchased actual vintage stamps.  They were a little more than normal postage, but they added to our vintage inspired theme.
