Real Wedding Wednesday: Mayowood Stone Barn Wedding by Angelic Jewel Photography

The bride-to-be saw the Mayowood Stone Barn and fell in love with the magical wedding venue.  She carefully planned every detail and sought out handmade and personalized decor and accessories to create the vision she had in mind for the special day.  All the details came together for Krystal and Jon’s rustic elegance vintage inspired wedding and added even more character to the already beautiful stone barn.  The vibrant palette of purples with accents of reds and pinks, the vintage inspired key decor, her lovely lace dress with the keyhole back and the stunning historic architecture of the barn are only a few of the many highlights of this elegant barn wedding.

From the Bride: I wanted my wedding to have a rustic elegance/vintage feel.  I decided early on I wanted to get married in a barn so I started my wedding planning looking for the perfect barn.  I found it at the Mayowood Stone Barn and decided to have a “mini destination” wedding as all of the groom’s and my family live 2.5+ hours from Rochester.  When our wedding guests would ask why the wedding in Rochester?  My husband would just laugh and say, “She fell in love with a barn.”

The Look of Love Bridal Extravaganza

The Minnesota Bride’s The Look of Love bridal extravaganza is coming up in the first week of February.  Some of the top Twin Cities wedding vendors come together for an amazing bridal show in Edina. JCrew Wedding Spring Collection

J.Crew is known for their classic designs.  Their wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses have simple silhouettes and pretty details.  Here are a few of the wedding dresses from the J.Crew Spring collection and also some of the bridesmaid dresses.  Since the designs are so classic, the bridesmaid dresses are equally wonderful for guests and partygoers.

My favorite wedding dress is the first one.  I adore the A-line silhouette, cap sleeves and subtle dot print of the fabric.  Which dress if your favorite?
